Megan Darr Soroka was a staunch supporter of maintaining the good health, welfare and care of animals during her lifetime. Her love of life, willingness to help others, as well as her generosity, touched all who knew her.
On January 2, 2007, Megan's life ended tragically, a victim of a senseless
act. In her memory, Megan's Dreams, a Michigan
nonprofit organization, was created in the spring of 2007.
The goals of Megan's Dreams are twofold:
1.) To provide annual educational scholarships to students studying veterinary medicine at MSU.
2.) To support the Friends For the Dearborn Animal Shelter in their efforts to find good homes for the animals under their charge and their efforts to help insure the good health, welfare and care of the animals whose paths they cross.
